Inasmuch Day

Inasmuch Day of Serving is held each year in the fall.  It's a day of various service projects in the community, based around Matthew 25:40, in which Jesus teaches that "in as much" as his followers have served others in need, they have served him, hence "Inasmuch Day."

In recent years, St. Mark's has engaged in:

  • Making blankets for children in need.
  • Baking treats and offering support and conversation for local civil servants and our neighbors.
  • A wreath laying ceremony to honor those who are buried in a historic cemetery on the Waukesha County grounds.
  • Helping Family Promise to prepare new apartments for those in need of housing.
  • Repurposing old wedding dresses to make burial garments for children who have died.
  • Serving breakfast at Hope Center
