SOPHIA is the Waukesha County affiliate of WISDOM.  Per their website, "WISDOM is a statewide network, committed to bringing diverse communities together to work for racial and economic justice. . . . We envision a society where all Wisconsinites enjoy an equitable, democratic society, in which they all can thrive and share power."  

The St. Mark's SOPHIA Core Team meets regularly to discuss such issues as housing inequity, prison reform, and immigration.  They also interface with our county-wide and state-wide counterparts, meeting with Wisconsin legislators, attending events, and learning how to advocate for just practices in our county and our state.
